 Establishes in March 1988, as  a scientific Society of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (formerly Department of Electronics), Government of India, Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), is primarily a R&D institution involved in the design, development and deployment of electronics and advanced information Technology (IT) products and solutions. C-DAC has been on to develop a Teraflops Super Computer after it has delivered the celebrated PARAM series of Open Frame Architecture Super Computers. C-DAC’s GIST (Graphics and Intelligence based Scripts Technology) is enabling the use of Indian languages and their complex script as well as grammatical structures on the computer as well as on all aspects of Information Technology. And the PACE (Programme for Advancing Computer Education) has been serving as the vehicle to extend the benefits of the products and solutions developed in the R&D labs of GIST to the grass root level of society.

 All C-DAC courses are designed with special features to ensure rich, cost-effective and supportive training to the student and provide a strong career foundation. The courseware is designed to suit the requirements of students to minute details with a structured syllabus. It has a nation-wide ATC network of over 500 centers.
 

 

Under the PACE banner, training centers are called C-DAC GIST PACE Authorized Training centers (ATC). It gives the students an opportunity to   make the most of IT without having a technical background. The courses are so  
   structures that those desirous of pursuing career in the software industry can do so by enrolling the advanced courses offered by C-DAC.

IIPS is associated to C-DAC to bring quality computer education to students and working peoples with a wide range of Diploma and Certificate courses ranging from a month to one year. This association of IIPS & C-DAC would benefit students in availing quality computer  training at an affordable structure, free study materials prepared by experts and finally a Government certification having better job prospects.
